COMPOSITION The mat consist of natural rubber and is covered with a layer of cork from Portugal. Natural rubber is 100% biodegradable and eco-friendly. Cork is natural material derived from the bark of the cork oak tree, which is a renewable resource. Gaining the raw material does not disturb the balance of natural environment in any way, because cork forests regenerate spontaneously. The layer of cork on yoga mats has antibacterial and antistatic properties. That means it does not retain bacteria and dust, so it can be safely used by allergy sufferers. Due to ability to be naturally resistant to microbial growth, cork is considered anti-microbial. Mats are free from any toxic substances. The connection of layers takes place thanks to the welding process, excluding use of adhesives. We used water-based inks during printing process. PVC-free.
GRIP THAT ADJUST TO YOUR PRACTICE Cork does not absorb moisture, but thanks to oily suberin present in its structure, it is sufficiently adhesive. The anti-slip properties increase with the increasing amount of moisture on the mat – the more you sweat, the more grippy it becomes. If you are not warmed up sufficiently, lightly moisten your hands and feet or dampen slightly the areas around the hands and feet to get extra grip support. The mat gives you smoothness of transitions in sequences during your practice. It is perfect for all kinds of yoga, pilates, fitness and other workouts.
SUPPORT DURING YOUR PRACTICE Thanks to the high density of the rubber and the thickness of 5 mm, this mat will make your practice safe, whilst providing stabilization and excellent shock absorption to the joints. The herringbone pattern on the rubber layer of the mat will ensure that the mat will stay in place during your workout.

CARE INSTRUCTION Easy to clean, after practice it is enough to wipe it with a damp cloth to get rid of dirt from the mat surface and let air-dry naturally. More information you will find in our Yoga mats cleaning guide (>click here). When storing please roll up the logo side outwards to prevent wrinkles. Do not keep the yoga mat close to a heat source for a long time to prevent your rubber mat from aging. Long, direct exposure to the sunlight might accelerate the biodegradation process.

ATTENTION People with rubber or latex allergies should avoid contact with this mat as it contains dry natural rubber and may contain latex.
Please note that process of abrasion and crumbling of the cork is normal. The lifespan of natural resources has its limit, however by choosing that material you take care of our planet.
